The Makwana-Skurky Wedding

We had so much fun in Asheville, NC last weekend for Dave and Neera's wedding! It was one of those weekends when not only did you have a great time, but your pictures show it, too. Know what I mean?

We really could have done without the sunrise wedding ceremony in 38 degree weather, but the ceremony was so interesting and beautiful that it was hard to complain (we found a way to do it anyway)...

We had the day to explore but most of us went back to bed. The reception was back at the Biltmore that night and it was top notch!

Bobby donned his very first bow tie! I've been working on this for years and my efforts paid off. He looks pretty dapper, if I do say so myself :)

The very striking soon-to-be Cassidy's
We can't wait for their wedding in Charlottesville!

We'll also be celebrating Frank and Katy's wedding this year and can't wait for these 2 awesome people to tie the knot! This pic is from several summers did y'all escape my mad camera skilz at the wedding?

Rachel & Billy, our favorite doctor/lawyer power couple:

And, what in the world? No pics of Ted and Susan? Here's a flashback from our wedding :)

And now for a word about the Smith Family:
Sarah is and always has been the main caretaker of the group.
We love this girl (and Travis, too!).

In fact, Rob loves Travis almost as much (maybe more?) than he loves me.

The O's know how to party!
(Ashley, you do NOT look like a crazy person taken hostage by Matt!
You look awesome!)

Jeff & Kelly were burning it up, too...

These guys always have an awesome time together!

Yep, that's a foot.

Bobby Unplugged

I love this guy.

After the party, there's the after-party ...
(Did you start humming R. Kelly's ignition here? Meee, too! So wrong!)

Thanks to Dave and Neera for planning such a superb celebration. We really had a spectacular time!

  1. Love, love, love :) So much fun to relive through your pictures. That one of Bobby and Travis is too funny! Hope you're having a good week!

  2. Thank you for posting these pics Meryl! It was so good to see you all. We'll do it all over again in a couple of weeks! Hope you are doing well.
