2011, then 2012

Days before Christmas, Rob's Uncle Steve Snow, a great man, died unexpectedly at his home in Colorado. A few days after Christmas, Rob had the honor of serving as a pallbearer at his funeral ceremony with full military honors. A U.S. Army helicopter pilot and Vietnam Veteran, Uncle Steve was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandpa and uncle to many who are missing him dearly. Here's a few photos that I bet he'd be proud to see.

My Lieutenant and his Dad, Major Chris Snow, Retired

Here they are with Rob's Cousin, Captain Jonathan Norman

As the days passed into 2012, we received Rowen's first school photos. A little cheesy, but we think he's precious!

These poses are hilarious!

Rowen and Rob had a great time assembling this wooden train. Thanks, Aunt Kathy!

I had a great time putting Rich's arm back together after a mishap in Katie's kitchen :)
I'm wearing a head lamp and no gloves. In my breakfast nook.
That's how we roll with home-stitching projects.

I was delighted, but not surprised, to see how much 2 grown men (Rob and our neighbor, Alex) enjoyed playing with Rowen's hot wheels track!

And sweet Jen kept Harper company :)

We'll leave you with this: a text message Rowen sent from Rob's phone to mine :)

Coming up, Rowen's 4th birthday! Woohoo!

  1. Meryl, I like the home stitching project. Do you keep lidocaine and syringes at your house just in case ? :)
